Pastries That You Can’t Eat, Cups That You Can’t Drink From, Paintings That You Can’t Hang On A Wall
Have you already guessed what’s wrong with all these items? More precisely, everything is okay with them; they are just made of … soap. Soap pastries, soap cups, soap framed paintings that are made of my real watercolor pictures.
I’m Kate, a watercolor painter and I love making creative soap. A year has passed since that moment that I had decided to combine soap making and watercolor paintings. Since that time I like to put new paintings into the soap, search for new molds and watch what comes out of it. Experimenting is a very important part of making such “artistic” soap. To make such a watercolor soap painting I have to reduce the size of a real painting by 8 times!
During this year, I also began making my own silicone molds for soap and these colored cups are the result of it. And if you have a soap cup, what else do you need? A piece of soap cake or soap pastries, of course! So, here are they! :) Now it looks like a tasty set of soap!
