I’m a amateur illustrator. Pencil and pastel are my favorite tools to realize my inspirations. My way of drawing is called “color translation” which means I draw the pictures based on photos or movie scene but in a way that illustrates my understanding of colors.
Vincent Van Gogh’s works keep inspiring me, his rough and strong stroke, his special way of looking the world is so touching. That’s why I like using pastel the most, because it’s clean and easy to get those oil painting effects I want.
