Paralyzed Cat Drags Herself To The Spot She Left Her Kittens After Neighbor Tried To Kill Her
This mom cat recently suffered the most brutal attack after she accidentally wandered into the wrong yard in Australia. The man who lived on the property allegedly grabbed the stray cat by the tail and threw her up against a trailer. The cat was thought to be dead, so her 1-week-old kittens were collected by an animal rescue group. However, the next day the most unbelievable thing happened. The cat started dragging herself using only her front paws to the spot where she last saw her babies.
The local RSPCA picked up the mom immediately and reunited her with her kittens. Now named Princess, the cat is sadly paralyzed for life. Sawyers Gully Animal Rescue’s owner Dee Walton is going to take care of her for good, as the poor cat has very special needs. She can’t even urinate or defecate on her own. The man responsible for this tragedy was arrested and there are plans to get Princess her own wheelchair. For now, the poor cat can take comfort in nursing her loved babies. “Princess is a fighter, she teaches me everyday not to give up,” Walton told the Dodo. “I believe those kittens gave her the will to live.”

I would not allow that psychotic animal-abusing neighbor around anyone or anything vulnerable. What sewer does someone like that crawl out of? She is just a tiny little momma cat. This happens all the time which is unfortunate, not for the readers but the innocent animals. If you saw a homeless animal with offspring what would you do? Who cares if it was stray or someone else's, anyone (But this jerkface - Obviously Satan's offspring) would take it in and care for it so that the future of the kitten and mother are healthy. Anybody like this deserves the same fate.

I'm sitting on my computer, watching the video of the poor cat eating. I realize that she is an incredibly beautiful cat. She has a soul purer and more beautiful than most people have. I hope that some purrfect owner comes along to give this good girl the home she deserves.

OMG, how horrible! If I'd been there and that man had told me what he'd done, it would probably make me snap and attack HIM. (Not that I could do much, because I'm 5'1, heavy and get easily winded, but animals are my babies.) I'm not a violent person, but some things push my "berzerk button."

There would be a lot less animal cruelty if the universally accepted, and enforced, punishment were partial castration. It's inexpensive, long-lasting, and the miscreant will remember his misdeed every time he had to take a leak. He'd have to hide forever from other men in the locker room, he'd have a lot of explaining to do to the women in his life, and he'd know, only too well, what would happen if he were to re-offend.

Cat haters are all too common. I'm not sure where it comes from --- even some people who say they love animals will say that they "feel nothing for cats", or worse. Cats unfortunately suffer from this kind of hostility all too often. I hope animal abuse prosecutions are strengthened.

Animals are really far more caring than people realize. Just A Girl posted sometimes she thinks animals are better than people, they definitely are. Humans can be so disgustingly evil. Animals don't have that in them. Princess deserves so much extra love. She and her kittens are lucky they had each other. The piece of trash man that did this should die a horrible painful death, preferably sooner than later. We need animal vigilantes to wipe out these kinds of people!

When I first read the title of the article, I immediately saw red! 😠 😤 As a long time cat rescuer, I have sadly experienced such horrendous circumstances & know other rescuers who have as well. It makes you really start to hate people! Thank you to the wonderful rescue group who brought them all to safety! I hope & pray that POS BASTARD LOSER! was turned into authorities & he was charged & jailed & fined for ALL the medical I fired! How ANYONE can look at a sweet beautiful cat like that Momma & their first thought is to unleash su b cruelty beyond measure!!!! is unfathomable to me! I feel like there are NO penalties under the present laws that brings any measure of justice equal to what these psycho's perpotrate on these innocent animals! harming an animal in such a cruel way is wrong , however as an Australian person i still hold quite strongly that owning cats should require a license , we have lost many a species of animal never to be found anywhere else on this planet due to the cat and i support cat culling if it means our precious native fauna get to live , de-sexing just doesnt cut it they still kill wildlife, feral cats need to be put down , as cruel as it may sound to non Aussies , think of the unique species disappearing due to this animal , that is a pest.

If she is paralyzed how does the cat manage to go to the toilet, Our old lad had a feline stroke and dragged his back end about, he could not pee or defecate, the vet said you could spend thousands of pounds and still not get him right, for him not being able to climb and run about would have killed him anyway so we believed the vet, now we found something that could have helped him, we will live with this guilt till we die as we had him put to sleep.

You could not have known. Please don't torture yourself about your choice. You were listening to advice from someone that should have told you all the options. Perhaps This mother cat may also have to be put down soon, too, as well. At least she gets the joy of raising her kittens first, if that is what has to be done. No one knows the future, and you chose what you believed was best for your furbaby. That's all you can do. It's even possible that this girl's injury is different than your boy's was. it sadens me to here another story of animal abuse what is wrong with people do they totally lack empathy for other animals and humans .I have no idea how someone could do such a thing it just does not register in my brain.I think this man needs some serious counselling that should be nmadatory plus jail and a fine hit him every where and get him some mental health

There would be a lot less animal cruelty if the universally accepted, and enforced, punishment were partial castration. It's inexpensive, long-lasting, and the miscreant will remember his misdeed every time he had to take a leak. He'd have to hide forever from other men in the locker room, he'd have a lot of explaining to do to the women in his life, and he'd know, only too well, what would happen if he were to re-offend.

Cat haters are all too common. I'm not sure where it comes from --- even some people who say they love animals will say that they "feel nothing for cats", or worse. Cats unfortunately suffer from this kind of hostility all too often. I hope animal abuse prosecutions are strengthened.

Look. Karma is NOT a REAL thing. Otherwise, s****y people wouldn't get away with bad things and they DO. So instead of relying on silly wishes.. start reporting losers including neighbors that neglect and abuse animals. Complaining is one thing... ACTION is another! Animals are really far more caring than people realize. Just A Girl posted sometimes she thinks animals are better than people, they definitely are. Humans can be so disgustingly evil. Animals don't have that in them. Princess deserves so much extra love. She and her kittens are lucky they had each other. The piece of trash man that did this should die a horrible painful death, preferably sooner than later. We need animal vigilantes to wipe out these kinds of people!

When I first read the title of the article, I immediately saw red! 😠 😤 As a long time cat rescuer, I have sadly experienced such horrendous circumstances & know other rescuers who have as well. It makes you really start to hate people! Thank you to the wonderful rescue group who brought them all to safety! I hope & pray that POS BASTARD LOSER! was turned into authorities & he was charged & jailed & fined for ALL the medical I fired! How ANYONE can look at a sweet beautiful cat like that Momma & their first thought is to unleash su b cruelty beyond measure!!!! is unfathomable to me! I feel like there are NO penalties under the present laws that brings any measure of justice equal to what these psycho's perpotrate on these innocent animals! I wish that EXACTLY what he did to that cat, would be done to him! ,except, because he doesn't have a tail, swing him around by his d***, till his a*s**** whistles Dixie & then his spine cracks & paralizes him. That's justice!

harming an animal in such a cruel way is wrong , however as an Australian person i still hold quite strongly that owning cats should require a license , we have lost many a species of animal never to be found anywhere else on this planet due to the cat and i support cat culling if it means our precious native fauna get to live , de-sexing just doesnt cut it they still kill wildlife, feral cats need to be put down , as cruel as it may sound to non Aussies , think of the unique species disappearing due to this animal , that is a pest.

If she is paralyzed how does the cat manage to go to the toilet, Our old lad had a feline stroke and dragged his back end about, he could not pee or defecate, the vet said you could spend thousands of pounds and still not get him right, for him not being able to climb and run about would have killed him anyway so we believed the vet, now we found something that could have helped him, we will live with this guilt till we die as we had him put to sleep.

You could not have known. Please don't torture yourself about your choice. You were listening to advice from someone that should have told you all the options. Perhaps This mother cat may also have to be put down soon, too, as well. At least she gets the joy of raising her kittens first, if that is what has to be done. No one knows the future, and you chose what you believed was best for your furbaby. That's all you can do. It's even possible that this girl's injury is different than your boy's was. ((((hugs)))) Be well, and rest easy, knowing you did what you thought was best, and that your furbaby knew you were.
