Clearest blue - CHVRCHES
1. That beat drop is everything
2. Me and my friends got really into hearstopper when it first came out, and had a few sleepovers around that time, so we'd all scream that song when someone put it on or if we were watching the scene with it. That's something we still do today, it's kinda unofficially our theme song now.
At the same time as this I was just coming to terms with the fact that I did like a girl, and watching the scene where tara and darcy kiss, I just felt quite validated, y'know?
I love it when beautiful songs have wonderful memories associated with them!!! Love the part where that song is your friend group’s theme song! Yeah, sometimes, songs or maybe a scene, memory or a simple tune can make you feel at home…
Can't name them all here!! It changes all the time. At the moment, my favourites are:
Sharks by Imagine Dragons
Worms by Ashnikko
New York by Steve Aoki
If we ever broke by Mae Stephens
And loads more... Sometimes I'll play some of my old ones, when I first started listening to music like The Weeknd, Selena Gomez, Calvin Harris to name a few.
"The days of the phoenix" by AFI....... God I miss the past...things were so much easier then, to retreat into the darkness and avoid the world...
Oh! I am sorry for the feelings that you have right now..But still a beautiful song!
My favourite songs are
Oh My God by Alec Benjamin,
Let Her Go by Passenger
I think I am Okay by Yungblud
Parents by Machine Gun Kelly
Both by Todrick Hall
Right now my go to is Call Me What You Like by Lovejoy (yeah i know i’ve said it multiple times but it’s my favorite ok) because it’s very unique and gives me chills every time. The chorus is amazing and i cannot get enough
Probably Suburbia Overture by Will Wood.
It's a really neat song to listen too, and there's a lot going on with the lyrics. I listened to it on loop for about a week straight, so that was fun. And as an overture, it has a lot of neat lyrical and insturmental references to the other songs on the album, and is very well done.
