What are your thoughts on the LGBTQ community, the people in it, and their beliefs and mannerisms?

LGBTQ+ people are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Most of my friends and I are part of the community in one way or another (personally I am a lesbian) and they are very accepting and welcoming.
I absolutely support it! Even if you are lesbian, gay, bi, trans, or queer, you are STILL a human being!
what makes you do this? like what your thought process?
Load More Replies...As a Christian, I’m pretty new to the whole thing... but you know what I think? Good for them!! I’m glad they can be who they are. It’s still super confusing for me, but hey it shouldn’t matter because the LGBTQ+ community should be loved and supported too. And I apologize on behalf of some of the other “Christians” who have been quite mean to them. I don’t claim to be that type of Christian. I believe to love everyone as God has loved me, and that includes the LGBTQ+ community. :)
It's nice to see another supportive Christian (I already know one, I realize that didn't make sense)
1000% acceptence including the other letters like IAP+ and idk the rest of the order (lgbtqiap+)
I have more to say so: They aren't doing any harm they are eather not in the 'normal' binary, they love differently or both I don't understand why someone would hate someone for that. Besides its hard to hate the community when you are 2 of the As (aromantic and asexual)
Conflicted!
It's difficult to explain, and would take far longer than I have at the moment. Just to be clear... I don't have any problem with anyone's sexuality, gender, orientation, etc.
It's the "community" aspect that I am conflicted over. There are a lot of pros, but also many cons. I agree with it in principle but my personal experiences have let me to question the "community" side of things.
I'm sorry that I don't have time to go into detail, so I'll just say that if you are a part of the community, please just remember why you are a part of the community. Be yourself, not who you or others think you should be.
I actually agree with that, while acknowledging that it stung when I came out to my mother and she told me that I was just trying to be cool.
I don't really pass judgement on full groups of people (hipsters and nazis notwithstanding), but I'm Bi as Billy Joe and it's nice to see people who can share experiences.
And I LOVE lesbians.
Never met a sapphic subscriber I didn't like.
It's great, but I've seen lots of in-fighting.
As a member of the LGBTQ community myself, I can say we are all wonderful people, and certainly don’t deserve the discrimination and hate we receive from certain religious organizations and people with certain political ideologies. All people deserve to be treated with love and respect, and I hope we can all go out and do that!
I fully support it, as you can see by my profile picture
ok but tulip poplars are my favorite tree. Love your name!
Completely amazing and brave and smart and they should be treated like they are normal people because LGBTQ+ people are great.
Love is love and I accept 100%!
I support it %100 (I myself am Bi) also lgbtq+ are people just like straight people.
