I Use Watercolor To Capture Moments Of My Life To Remind Myself Of The Beautiful Things Around Me
My name is Leon and I’m a Malaysian born illustrator and visual development artist currently working at Renegade Animation in Glendale, CA. My works have been showcased in galleries such as Light Grey Art Lab, Giant Robot Gallery, Cartoon Network Studios Gallery, as well as the Society of Illustrators.
I enjoy painting landscapes and figures from my personal experiences that help me remember a certain moment in my life. Inspired by the Californian culture and landscape where I currently reside in, I use watercolor to express myself and capture the things that mean something to me. I am highly intrigued by the subtleties, and beauty of life, as well as all that it has to offer.
Everyone has their own way of remembering things. Some people keep a diary, and some people take photos, but I like to paint. I think it is a great idea to record special moments or events in our lives and be able to look back on them. I encourage everyone to go out and see the world, enjoy nature, and learn to appreciate all that surrounds us.

Share on FacebookBeautiful paitings! I love how realistic the water is on the last one.
I thought that some of these looked real at first glance. Great artwork!
There's a place I walk my dogs with a water fountain just like sip sip. I love that one. Your dog seems super nice.(I love dogs.)
Use of light and shade here is amazing. A lot of people don't take watercolour far enough, these are fantastic
These are beautiful, but I am so sad. I want to see the dog with his family who loves him. I know that bridge, well done.
