When I was 19 years old, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Now I am 26, and most of this time I have been treated with traditional methods such as medication and psychotherapy. But a year ago I found the ideal therapy for myself — art therapy. I express the whole huge range of my emotions on canvas. It actually works.
In my paintings, I show what the world of people with mental disorders might look like, I help to understand us and get rid of stigmatization. I also try to inspire people with mental disorders and encourage them to live openly and not be afraid of anything.

I was hoping more of their art would follow the introduction painting. So much expressed here. I appreciate the efforts and yes, some I absolutely loved. The artist is not alone, since so much creative work is done to express feelings and thoughts that have no other way to emerge. I hope we will see more in the years, in the decades to come.
