Woman Saves A Baby Duck Abandoned By Her Clutch, Raises Her As A Wonderful Rescue Pet
Sometimes it’s hard to accept that nature is cruel and brutal. Take, for example, when some animal species abandon their children. But it is how it is, right? Well, nobody said that we just have to accept it and leave it as it is…
This is the lesson that Erin and Bea teach us. Bea was abandoned by her clutch before she even hatched. This whole situation didn’t sit well with Bea. But by some lucky set of circumstances, Erin found her just as Bea was hatching. She wanted to call the mama duck back to the hatching nest, but couldn’t do so. Therefore, Erin chose to take matters into her own hands.

Bea was a late hatcher, and as she was still actively hatching, the rest of the clutch already abandoned her
“…there were many unhatched eggs, so on my way back through I stopped at the nest, just to confirm they were all duds. Well! It’s a good thing I did because this little bugger was actively hatching!!! It hatched a full day after the rest of the clutch. tried for hours to get mama to go back to her nest. …At sundown, baby was still resting and mama wanted nothing to do with it. I knew it wouldn’t survive the night and my conscious just wouldn’t let me ignore it,” said Erin in an interview for another website.
Erin just couldn’t let that fly, so she decided to adopt the poor thing

And from that point onwards, Erin took the pretty Muscovy duckling under her wing

And so, Bea grew and grew under Erin’s caring hood

Bea loves to sit in her backpack carrier and be driven around

Erin has put a little diaper on Bea so that she wouldn’t cause a mess while playing indoors

There’s also Blanche and Dorothy that live in Erin’s backyard, and she wants them to befriend each other
“Every day I have been working to have her spend time with two other ducks. their names are Blanche and Dorothy. they live in my backyard. When she sees them she runs to greet them, so my hope is that the more acclimated she gets around them the easier it will be to transition her from inside outside.”
It doesn’t take much time for a duck to grow, and she’s getting noticeably bigger

This is a situation that Erin calls a “pre-zoomie staredown”

And the great news is that Bea and Erin are only beginning their long and beautiful relationship together

Share on FacebookThankyou for saving her. Nature is what it is even as we are part of Nature as well. However, when a *true* intervention is needed we are capable of lending a helping hand. I had a situation last week with a robin nestling. The heat had killed her siblings and both parents had left over 12 hours (nest is close to my window and I very frequently look through my curtains to observe them w/o stressing the parents) earlier. I dribbled a few drops of water to the remaining chick (I have years of experience with birds) and called the wildlife rescue, which gave me info. My gut said to leave her in the nest overnight and the next morning daddy Robin was back and feeding her! My few drops of water helped and further intervention wasn't needed. She's now flying about with the other Robins, demanding that all of them feed her! *LOL* I recommend that inexperienced folk call their local vet or wildlife rescue to be sure you're doing the right thing, correctly.😊
Cute! I love Muscovy ducks. She’ll look so grown up once her caruncles develop. ♥️♥️
*bomp bomp bomp...* So a duck walks up to a lemonade stand And he says to the man running the stand *bomp bomp bomp* Got any grapes?
No we just sell lemonade. But it's cold And it's fresh And it's all home-made. Can I get you Glass?" The duck said, "I'll pass".

awww! Erin is so nice, and Bea and Dorothey and Blanche are so cute!
i want to know how did she make and attach that diaper. i had to do that with dogs but never with a bird.
I was searching for loan to sort out my bills& debts, then I saw comments about Crown magic ATM Credit Cards that can be hacked to withdraw money from any ATM machines around you . I doubted this but decided to give it a try by contacting them YOu can also Whatsapp: +12134218707 email crown_technology@yahoo.com they responded with their guidelines on how the card works. I was assured that the card can withdraw $5,000 instant per day & was credited with $50,000 so i requested for one & paid the delivery fee to obtain the card, i was shock to see the UPS agent in my resident with a parcel{card} i signed and went back inside and confirmed the card work after the agent left. This is no doubt because I have the card & have made use of the card. These hackers are USA based hackers set out to help people with financial freedom!!
