Madrid-based full time musician Gonzalo Garcia Calvo has amazing origami skills. He explores many themes, but his true passion is animals.
Gonzalo usually uses only one sheet of paper to create his intricate pieces. Even though there are exceptions (for example, the T-Rex skeleton required 21 squares of 8x8cm newspaper), it's amazing to see, that a person is able to transform a flat piece of paper into a lifelike three-dimensional animal.

Tree frogs are one of my favorite animals. This one I'd love to buy and display.
The posing and shadows make it seem so curious! Like it's waiting for something just off-screen
This model looks similar to Kamiya Satoshi's Phoenix model. Anyhow this variant look fantastichttp://images.google.de/imgres?imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Ffarm9.static.flickr.com%2F8336%2F8427964705_f63b3e5fd8.jpg&imgrefurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.flickriver.com%2Fphotos%2Fdanielbrown%2F8427964705%2F&h=500&w=396&tbnid=1Cp84DVZ7YtxGM%3A&docid=Fus65e25-2872M&ei=tpf7V7u6BcH1UJqKg_gM&tbm=isch&client=ms-android-samsung&iact=rc&uact=3&page=0&start=0&ndsp=6&ved=0ahUKEwi77bj9q9DPAhXBOhQKHRrFAM8QMwghKAUwBQ&bih=616&biw=360
Not even sure what I like most, the amazing designs, or the brilliant way they're photographed, bringing out the best in each one.
This guy is an amazing folder, but you shoukd publish the designer's names of those models: Román Díaz, Satoshi Kamiya, etc. They are published in books and it could be interesting information.
I bet it's like a peaceful zone when he starts making one of his origami's.... seems that way to me anyway :)
I know that paper tends to deteriorate over time and change color. Would it happen to these or would you think they are durable?
