Origami is beautiful yet fragile, but Floriane Touitou found a way to "preserve" her paper foldings. Floriane protects her intricate origami animals by putting them under glass and these decorations produce a unique charming vibe.
"There is something magical in the transition from a single square sheet of paper to the desired shape: animal or insect, real or imaginary," Touitou said. Her origami creatures are inspired by natural history museums' preservation methods which were widely used in Renaissance Europe.
Floriane (who also has a PhD in Physics) hand-folds her animals using high-quality Washi paper. It is made of paper mulberry following an ancient Japanese technique and has been a world heritage since 2014. Her remarkable work is available on Etsy.

First of all, the origami is beautiful but I hope the jars aren't sealed as they would easily fall over inside. Also, I doubt that putting them in jars is either an amazing way or that it will preserve them. They could last for hundreds of years in the open air!

all these works are plagiarism !!! the creator of this models are for the most : Kunihiko Kasahara , and all these stuff are not created by Floriane Touitou , she 's just an interpreter who makes money without authorisation from the true creators and in illegal regard to the intellectual property laws ! thank you for sharing the works from true CREATORS

Ok, I might sound bad now, but I actually don't like it... I mean, I perceive origami as something purposedly delicate, but still laying around, constantly made by someone, something, that is meant to be created, but then just vanish... Maybe I am wrong. I just feel like putting them in a jar imprisones them. Not to mention, if someone tries to make a high form of art from it, when those are not even a complex works compared to the works of world-known origami artists...I don't know. It looks like someone is trying to make money from simple forms, adding the jar to make them seem more posh. Something does not seem right here for me.
