It is the World’s biggest hot air balloon festival, followed by the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival in New-Mexico, United States. The MAB takes place at the old OTAN airbase in Chambley-Bussière, in the French department of Meurthe-et-Moselle. During ten days, 1000 hot air balloons from approximately 70 different countries took off to invade the sky.
