Did you know there's a pickle eyeshadow palette? Or a portable toilet seat that attaches to your car tire? Neither did we. But regardless of their questionable viability, these items exist. And you can find them on the subreddit r/OfCourseThatsAthing.
Named after pretty much the only reaction people have to its content, the sub has grown to a 739K member community, and even though we at Bored Panda have already covered it before, these folks keep unearthing the most creative and weirdest products, so we have to do it again!

Cross-Legged Office Chair
As a person who sits with at least one foot up on most chairs, this looks comfortable.
Ooh, you get back support and you get to cross your legs. Why not? Or you could sit on the floor with your back to a wall.
It's available in 4 colors and 2 sizes. You can have a look here https://amzn.to/3EO2n0K #ad
Makes sense to me. I know people who sit cross legged on office chairs
That would definitely help me be more productive; I have a weird need to be cross legged on my chair.
I used an extra box of copy paper. I had to save on in case we ran out during a big proposal and it worked out great for me!
Load More Replies...I bought one (not this specific model) and I am waiting for it to arrive.
I really need this. People look at me like I am fresh out of a padded room when i sit like this at work.
Love this! This is my preferred way to sit and now there’s a chair to accommodate it. I absolutely want this.
I always sit cross legged and this feel uncomfortable. I feel like my ankles are not tucked under and dangling ;)
I dont think this is good for posture, specially for people who with computer all day. But it´s pretty cool, I´ll take two.
Yes! I am viewing this while sitting cross-legged on my regular, uncomfortable office chair.
When I was still a wage slave, I would sit on one leg until it was numb, and then switch legs, throughout the entire day.
I have a bad back, and can't sit like a regular human with my legs down on the floor, for more than a few minutes. I usually end up sitting cross legged; sitting with my legs bent almost to my chest; or just using a very tall stool. Although those positions save my back, sometimes it kills my legs. This chair would be a serious back and leg saver!
I don't know why people feel like it's OK to have your nasty feet out in public. SOOOO GROOOOOSS
Scrolling through the images, it's hard to imagine someone greenlighting these ideas. David Pereira, the Head of Product Management at Virtual Identity, thinks it often happens when development gets too 'dry.'
"Products are built for people. Yet, many people lead product innovation through numbers, which means people become numbers [and] behaviors become data points," Pereira wrote. "Therefore, misunderstanding of the audience is inevitable because of too many false assumptions. Product teams that don't challenge the data become blind and build useless products."

The product manager pointed out that there's nothing wrong with being data-driven, it's just that teams need to understand when to apply numbers and when to stay away from them.
"Data will bring us insight from the past, showing details about customer behavior... However, we should not overlook the power of observation," Pereira said. "Once we observe real people using real products, insights will come to us [naturally], and [we'll be able to] understand how people use the [said] product [way better]."

Pereira is a big fan of prototyping. "I prefer accepting that [I] don't know enough; at best, [I] have a set of assumptions, which need validation as fast as possible. That's my approach for [all] ideas."
In his opinion, the Lean Startup method created by American entrepreneur Eric Ries is an excellent way of building products that solve real problems.
However, I guess it's either we have less useless stuff or more content on r/OfCourseThatsAthing. How can we possibly make this choice?!

People I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I was wondering and afraid that it might be a widespread problem. Go to : https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/news/disability-activist-dies-from-sores-caused-by-united-airlines-destroying-her-wheelchair/ar-AAQst50?li=BBnbfcL and check out his horror story.
Probably better to make your own post about it. Not too many people will see it here. Actually, I think there actually was a BP post about that a while ago, though maybe this is a different story.
