This Halloween, I got a brilliant photoshoot idea for my little boys. We’re not into the horror and gore, but we like wearing superhero costumes.
The boys have been excited about these Halloween photos for a long time. We had an idea of what we wanted: back alley and stormy weather.
For the first time ever, I was hoping for rain during our little photoshoot. We couldn’t have asked for a better environment. Awesome back alley and perfect stormy weather. It wasn’t full-on pouring down rain, but just enough for cool photos! We didn’t have much time since the boys wanted to go out trick-or-treating in their Halloween costumes afterward.
I used a Sony a7III with a Sigma 135mm f1.8 Art lens, and I put a flash behind them to create that rim light and the flash of light behind Batman’s leg.
Overall, we are thrilled with the final results, and the boys were ecstatic!
