This was the second graphic that I produced for the Not Your Average Princess series.
Originally, this series was hand drawn and published on my Instagram account. The series was so popular that I decided to recreate the illustrations as vector graphics. To do this I used Adobe Illustrator and my Wacom Cintiq Companion 2.
The idea was to create Disney Princesses in a more modern style. This included giving them tattoos and a Rock ‘N Roll fashion style.
In Not Your Average Princess Vol. 2, I featured Aurora from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. I decided to give her the New York City t-shirt that John Lennon made popular and the face paint of Ace Frehley from KISS.
