I am a Christian and a feminist. You can be both. The Christian side has a lot good common sense, and some stereotypes. This is why it’s important to understand scripture so it’s not weaponized against you. Yes there is a hierarchy with the man. But the way I understand this is like Jewish tradition of the first born having more responsibility, not being better than. (Correct me if you’re Jewish and I’m wrong). Women helped in Jesus’s ministry, traveled along with their husbands and taught. God is a gentleman and gives everyone the choice to follow Him & His rules. Everyone has free will. I made the choice to follow Him because He is love itself. When you have a relationship you get to know Him and there’s no turning back. I have never been silenced in church or treated like a second class citizen. A lot of these rules are to keep us safe. How many women have a “subway shirt” to prevent unwanted attention? Proverbs 31 is my standard for my role as a Christian woman. Being dependent on Gods will has never steered me wrong. Edited bc I wrote psalm 31 instead of proverbs
