LESS GUNS! Look at the statistics. If you have a gun in your home there is a 90% chance that it will kill YOU or someone you love. Only 1% of guns kept at home are ever used to stop intruders. Just stop the flow of guns. How about make gun owners have INSURANCE like we do with cars? See how much they like paying $300 a month just to own the damn thing. The 2nd Amendment says a "Well Regulated Militia". That's it. So regulate that Sh!t!

If we had a true, functioning democracy here in the US, then yes, there are enough people who would vote for massive change on this issue. But we do NOT have a functioning democracy, so unless the children of the wealthy become as affected as every else's children, things will not change. Please note I am NOT advocating for any child to be harmed in any way, my point is that the wealthy who own and run this country are so far removed from the problems and issues of everyone else, they'll never think about changing anything unless it affects them directly.

Unfortunately it won't stop I think until there are more NRA conventions shootings than school shootings (anf of course a better gun control).

I knew someone who thought obedience competitions for dogs were cruelty. Doing obedience training was why my dog was better behaved than your kid and why he behaved better in public places while your kid was running around like a feral animal.
