I Enjoy Making Fun Of American Pop Culture And The Woke, And Here Are 23 Comics I Created
'No Safe Space' is a comic panel on Instagram that was born with the rise of Covid in March of 2020. I had previously done cartooning for my college newspaper at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). After graduation, I spent years developing comic strips for newspaper syndication, where I papered my wall with rejection slips. For several years I drew a number of freelance cartoons and caricatures at newspapers and local businesses.

I settled into work as a graphic designer and put comics on the backburner, until Covid hit the US in 2020. Working from home full-time, my daughter asked me to create a comic for Instagram, which I was unfamiliar with at the time. I started posting my panel using my iPad, Apple Pencil, and Procreate app. At first, I posted black and white cartoons, but inserted color on one comic, and like Dorothy seeing MunchkinLand for the first time, I was hooked. My style is simple with bold colors. I was influenced most by Jim Borgman (Zits) and Richard Thompson (Cul de Sac).
The comic mainly makes fun of American pop culture and wokeness. It is sometimes a fine line when ridiculing politicians, celebrities, and fairy tales, but humor is ultimately what matters to me. I grew up with 7 brothers and 2 sisters and I draw each comic thinking if it will amuse them. If it does, you will see it on my Instagram.
Also recently published a cartoon collection 'NO SAFE SPACE' available on Amazon. The link is on my Instagram profile.
Bland and blatant stereotyping. On top of that, they weren't funny.
I really hope that this isn't how you hope to support your family. It's just a series of cringe, sad, pathetic, offensive, trash. "Comics" in the loosest of terms. Playground caliber wit on full display.
