No Paint, No Brush: I Made These Portraits With Fiber And A Felting Needle
I have no art training and would be the first to say, “I can’t draw,” but once I began using a barbed felting needle, I had found my passion. These paintless paintings take countless hours, often have 3-D elements, and beg to be touched. My studio is filled with cotton candy-like balls of wool in many different colors. I use wisps of fiber to create my art.
