Hey panda's. Tell us a story about where you were trying to do the right thing and it blew up in your face. For example this happened to me:
I called the police to check on an elderly tenant of my employer's because she called crying hysterically and told me she wished she was dead. She then called back and was pissed off and told me she didn't need the police called on her. *sigh* I suffer depression so I take suicidal comments very seriously and I was genuinely concerned for her safety. as they say "No good deed goes unpunished"

My best friend has dyslexia. She thinks she's "cured" idk why, but I can tell she's not. Her spelling is... something. Anyway, I always try to help in the most subtle way possible, it still blows up in my face. She yells at me and says she's not dyslexic anymore, but I think she still has it, even if it's better than before, which it is.
Its not something you just get over but it doesn't mean you cant succeed at the stuff you struggle with. I have dyslexia. I struggle with math and reading but I have learned tricks and learning methods what allowed me to get my BS in Electronics engineering and even graduate with honors. I found that reading off a screen is easier for me than paper and if you add in an E reader it gets even easier. For math I have to take down copious notes and I still use a calculator for even simple problems. I had to study hard but it was worth it.
