Calling all self-proclaimed ‘geeks’ – the Daughter of Thor needs your help.

That’s right, the creators of a new hammer swinging female superhero TV series titled “V FOR VALHALLA: Goddess of Thunder” has kicked-off a funding campaign to get the project off the page and onto small screens everywhere.

Who better to be in this fantasy-comedy series, but actress Robin Thorsen (of “The Guild” fame) as the 2nd-in-command and Valkyrie matriarch, Vanna. In the leading role is actress Holly Stanford, who also created and will produce with her husband Garrett Brown under their Thorsdottir Productions banner.

Rooted in Norse Mythology, “V FOR VALHALLA” is the story of an Earth-dwelling woman named Ally Thorsdottir (Stanford). Ripped from her home and brought to Asgard, Ally learns her father is the slain Norse God of Thunder, Thor. This makes her the rightful heiress to the throne with all the powers and duties that go along with it. Thankfully, she’s got a coven of Valkyrie by her side to guide her through this imperfect heroine’s journey to save the universe.

Rounding out the cast are: Ally Young Price, Sun Park, Harley Bronwyn Kraft, and Valentina Matosian.

Behind the scenes are: Director of Photography Lauren Haroutunian (RocketJump/ RocketJump Film School: Hulu and YouTube, Netflix’s Video “Game High School”, USA’s “Psych”) and SFX Makeup Artist Jason Henricks recognized from his stint as a contestant on season 9 of SyFy’s hit show “Face Off”.
