Lemurs are incredible creatures. They are highly intelligent animals, so when you meet a lemur, you meet a relative. The most magnetic thing about the lemurs is their eyes. 10. Aye-Aye Lemur
The Aye-Aye lemur lives in the Madagascar. They kind of look like Sméagol from Lord of the Rings. Even though they considered as a bad omen by the native people, Aye-Aye is still a very cute creature.

Mongoose lemurs are quite tiny living things. They reach just 30-40 cm length. They inhabit the tropical dry forest eco region of Madagascar Island. Mongoose lemurs are mostly herbivores.

Heart-eared dwarf lemurs also known as the hairy-eared mouse lemurs are yet another tiny and super cute species. They are found exclusively in Madagascar and reach just 65—90 g in weight. Unfortunately, these little fellows are considered highly endangered species.

I just can’t get enough of these cute tiny creatures. Just look at it, the adults fat-tailed dwarf lemur weighs just 160 grams.

Just when you thought they cannot get any tinier. Adult Arnold’s mouse lemur is just 49.7 grams. They were first seen on 27 November 2005 and first described in 2008.

The scientific name of this lemur specie is Microcebus gerpi. Yes, even its name sounds cute. They can be found in Sahafina forest in Eastern Madagascar. Gerp’s mouse lemur was announced in 2012 by German and Malagasy research team.

Gray mouse lemur – scientific name: Microcebus murinus. Although it is considered the largest of the mouse lemurs, in still weights only 58—67 grams.

Golden-Brown mouse lemur a.k.a. Microcebus ravelobensis, was first discovered in 1994. The average weight of this species varies from 56 to 87 grams.

The scientific name of the Danfoss’ mouse lemur is Microcebus danfossi. It lives in the western deciduous forest. You can say it is large for a mouse lemur. Danfoss’ mouse lemur reaches a total length of 25—29 centimeters, including 15 centimeters tail and weighs 63 grams.
