Thanks to Budsie, my son’s love of drawing has turned into his most favorite toy! And he was able to bless his best friend with a special drawing-inspired doll that he created, too.

My youngest, Kaden, loves to draw

My youngest son Kaden’s favorite thing to do has always been drawing photos of himself with this best friend, Ellie. At four-years-old, my son Kaden already treasured their friendship as the great blessing that it was (and still is). When Ellie had to go to the hospital to undergo surgery, Kaden decided that a doll would bring comfort to her and what better doll than one that he created with love and attention, just for her?

He drew two pictures; one of himself and one of Ellie and we submitted them to Budsies (www.Budsies.com) for these sweet little characters to come to life.

Kaden was absolutely tickled to see the perfect resemblance between his drawing and his Budsie, and was immediately attached to this plush little creation. He couldn’t wait to give Ellie her own Budsie…she was just as thrilled as he was!

One he will love for a long time and that we will keep forever. Both because he designed it and it is a direct link back to him at the precious age of four, and also because it reminds us of his long-time friendship with, and devotion to, his dear friend, Ellie.
