My Poem: Depression
I have been recently diagnosed with depression and have been trying to put it into words how I feel. I think all you panda’s will enjoy this poem I wrote.
Depression is like cold, deep, mud,
It’s thick and neverending.
Sometimes the sun shines,
And it’s a walk in the park,
Sometimes it just makes you want to cry.
You try to look inside the mud,
For things to help you out,
But all you see is darkness,
And things to slow you down.
Sometimes you want to sink below,
And end this long dark night,
You keep in trying to trudge ahead,
But the past holds on and tugs.
Sometimes there is weaker mud,
And small things to help you out,
I have to live with this now,
Along with so many others.
But someday it will be lighter,
Though still a heavy burden,
There are things to make it lighter.
