My Journey To The Land Of Ice.

Tents, a gas canister burner, a piercing wind, harsh weather conditions, indescribable beauty and a good company of friends. What else do you need for a good rest?

For 6 years in a row we have chosen to meet spring at the end of February in the forests of Belarus. Heavy backpacks, freezing temperatures and overnight stays in tents, constant discomfort and aggressive environment. I’m not afraid of this word, but it was an extreme vacation, because when you see -20 celsius, the fire cannot cope with the transfer of heat, and the tea cools down in a couple of minutes – the body releases such a dose of adrenaline that the thirst for adventure warms from the inside.

On the 7th year of our outings, we decided to change our usual comfort zone for something more exotic and the choice fell on Iceland.

Iceland in winter is the very place where every traveler or tourist who is tired of the usual landscapes and conditions should visit. Hail, giving way to rain, a storm that overtakes you on the road, and the wind is so strong that the car can hardly keep on the road. And then the sun appears and the eternal night is replaced by a frosty morning.

I want to say thank you to my friends who agreed to such an adventure without hesitation. Such trips perfectly temper in every sense of the word. I recommend it as a team building.
