A couple of years ago I found a drowning kitten and saved her and she became a house cat. I called her ‘Stevie Mouse’. There were so many ups and downs and we thought we would lose her many times as she was so ill. I left her at the vet on a few occasions and cried all the way home because I thought I wouldn’t see her again. When things got touch I would say to her to just remember your mantra ‘I Am Stevie Mouse’.

But Stevie Mouse is a fighter and now at the age of two years old she is the perfect artist’s model. She knows the right angle to sit for photographs, adopts the cutest poses and then sits next to my computer to make sure the pictures I produce of her are just right!

Stevie Mouse and I wrote a book about our experience called ‘I am Stevie Mouse; that is now available on Amazon. Full of images of Ms Mouse it is a wonderful gift for a cat lover.
