Do you have a friend who has Diabetes? It’s not the most pleasant thing in the world. You have to take insulin every day and it way worse than my hearing loss. It’s, in my opinion, one of the worst things you can have. Besides cancer. It’s possible for it to go away for cats, but in humans case, it’s un-curable. I hate it so much. I see people like that and I want to cry. My cat has Diabetes and he seems fine but he is old and it’s hard to tell what is old age or Diabetes. It’s very sad.

This is my cat Henry. He probably looks normal on our level of vision, but inside, his body isn’t working the right way. His glucose is two high and he is just sitting there and sat there for almost four hours straight. He was acting strange. We took him to the vet later that week. I started crying when I learned that he had Diabetes. Im only 13 so this was hard news. He was my best friend. Sometimes my only friend. The vet people gave us stuff for insulin shots the very next week. Now, on a regular basis, we give him an insulin shot. Two times a day. And every month we test his blood about 10 times a day. We put Vaseline on his ears to get the blood to pool, prick his earn vein, and put the blood on the strip. It might seem simple, but it’s hard to do. even more for me. I love my cat more than anyone . I wanted to put him down but now, I know that it was for best to not put him down. He is better and my soul isn’t empty.

Henry loves the sun. All cats do. Like Hobbes from Calvin and Hobbes.
