It’s Candy, Makeup Artist, and I’m excited to share my latest project with you. This time, I’ve swapped dark fantasy for something lighter and more personal: I’ve turned the people closest to me—my mom, boyfriend, and best friends—into living flower characters.

Each transformation was inspired by a specific flower that matched their personality. From sculpting petals by hand to designing and painting intricate makeup, I poured my heart into bringing these characters to life. The process took anywhere from days to weeks for each look, as I carefully crafted the styling to merge the natural beauty of flowers with each model’s unique features.

A fun extra detail was sculpting little bug creatures to match each flower. For example, I created a tiny fly to go with the Venus flytrap, a buzzing bee with the red flower, and a delicate ladybug with my mom’s tulip—a sweet personal touch, as that’s her favorite.

The most special transformation for me was my mom. Seeing her embody this elegant flower queen is a memory I’ll always cherish. The makeup was all about capturing her strength, and it was such a personal moment to have her as part of this series.

I love this one. It makes me think of a character from Alice in Wonderland or Beauty and the Beast.

While I spend hours perfecting every detail, from the makeup to the handcrafted headpieces, the ultimate goal is to create something magical yet personal. The photos, while important, are just a way to capture the essence of each transformation—what really matters is how each character felt in real life, full of color, texture, and energy.

Amazing work! I would love to know what materials you use to sculpt the flower petals and adorable little insects.

This series is a love letter to both nature and the people who inspire me every day. I hope these flower characters bring a little magic and creativity to your day, just like they did for me.
