This Muslim Woman Donates $1 For Every Hate Tweet She Receives
As a Muslim woman who was born a Christian, Susan Carland gets quite a lot of hateful messages from ant-Islamic bigots. After trying different ways to fight them, she came up with the best idea of all – she would turn their hate into something positive by donating $1 to UNICEF for every hate tweet she received.
Carland, is a sociologist with a PhD at Melbourne’s Monash University, converted to Islam when she was 19. She is now 34. “I’d tried blocking, muting, engaging and ignoring, but none of them felt like I was embodying the Koranic injunction of driving off darkness with light,” she writes on The Age. “I felt I should be actively generating good in the world for every ugly verbal bullet sent my way. And so the idea of donating $1 to UNICEF for every hate-filled tweet I received came to me.”

Obviously you didn't suffer childhood mutilation nor were you raped as a child as so many muslim little girls are. How nice of you to turn the hatred directed toward you into something positive. The world view of this Islamic "cult" where women are anything but valued and they revere a Pedophile and murderer as a holy man is beyond disgusting and horrific! They need to come out of the 4th century and live and let live!

The worldview of the Christ following "cult" (christians) where women are anything but valued and they revere a Pedophile and in breeder as a holy man is beyond disgusting and horrific! "As a Muslim woman who was born a Christian" That's as far as I read. No one is born a Christian. They become one by confessing their sin and accepting Christ as their savior.

I am not sure why she is doing this. Is this to say that being a Christiaan is wrong? It seems that she is saying that it is only right to be wearing a scarf to keep her hair away from other men. Do not show any flesh. Why being a Moslim or a Christian and sending these kid of publicity? Just be who you are. I am a atheist, American , blond girl who lives in Amsterdam and mostly I get called a h**e by Moslim boys. Because I am not their type , because I do not where a dress from top to toe. Please woman lets stand up for wearing, being, believing what we want to be.

So a woman thinks she is christian by birth and proves she doesn't have a clue what she is, chooses, on purpose, to be part of a religion that murders and oppresses women more than any other group.
