A Plastic Surgeon Has Used The Golden Ratio To Determine The Most Beautiful Women, And Here Are His Top 10
Measuring overall beauty is not simple since not only the outside counts. But if we only look at facial structure to determine the most beautiful woman, Ancient Greece once again has an answer.
The golden ratio, or Fibonacci sequence, which refers to a mathematic ratio of 1 to 1.618, is found in nature: plants, animals, weather structures, and star systems. In Ancient Greece, it was also used in architecture to determine eye-pleasing dimensional relationships between a building's width and height. It resulted in a structure that felt entirely in proportion.
So the question was if the golden ratio determines ideal proportions of beauty, could it be used for human faces? In this case, women's faces.
A plastic surgeon used the mathematical ratio, and Jodie Comer turns out to be the most beautiful woman in the world.

The nose width/length measure is definitely penalizing ancestry. There is nothing wrong with Beyonce's nose, or Deepika's, or Zendaya's, or anyone else's. The only people getting nose width/length over 90% are of predominantly European ancestry. And Bella Hadid is one of those people, but it's because of surgery- surgery that she got as a teenager but now is on the record as regretting, because she wishes she had kept "the nose of her ancestors."

Bollywood star Deepika came in ninth place. She had the highest overall score (95.2%) for the beautiful shape of her eyebrows.

I don‘t get why they did not pick Rani Mukherjee or Konkone Sen Sharma or even Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Even so, this is such a bad picture of Deepika.

Kim has a stunningly beautiful face. She scored very highly for the shape of her brow area and her chin but was marked down for lips and her overall face shape.

I agree with all of the critical comments by my fellow pandas, and would like to add that I wouldn't trust a plastic surgeon's opinion on "beauty". Unless they exclusively treat victims of facial injury, all they love is $$$!

I disagree that this method is even valid. What makes a woman beautiful are the characteristics that are uniquely hers. The whole is always greater than the sum of its parts. Jodie Comer has no distinguishing features; she looks exactly like a dozen other famous women. I wouldn't look at her twice if I passed her on the street, but I'd stop and stare at Sophia Loren.

Right now this article is at minus 15 points, please keep downvoting it! Someone on here suggested to look at the surgeon’s website for more examples of his idea of beauty. Well I did and found the attached picture. (The right hand side is supposed to be the improved version.) I find the golden ratio so boring. I'll find a slightly less 'perfect' face more attractive any day. I'm a lesbian who likes femme women and I am only physically attracted to one of the women in that list.

Yes these ladies are amazing to look at, hence their fame. Using architectural reasoning from ancient greek times to determine true beauty with mathematics to test how symmetrical our faces are just adds more pressure to us normal people with un-symmetrical faces who are self conscious about not being attractive enough already . For those who aren't aware it is very rare to find a face as symmetrical as Jodies at number 1. Thanks B.P yet another beauty comparison page .... This is an awful article-on the home page today there is a post showing how people have had massive scars decorated with tattoos, turning disfiguring and traumatic lesions into something that helps their mental health and come to terms with their appearance. And then we've got this, with extremely wealthy women who have had major but unnecessary cosmetic surgery to get the 'perfect' face, despite already being fine to start with. Why are we telling people to embrace their scars when at the same time we're saying we can measure perfection and you're not it?

i don't think all of these women have had surgery (with the obvious exception of kim). the list was compiled by a plastic surgeon using the supposed "golden ratio" to determine who is "most beautiful."
