I think you're absolutely right about being able to be #1 and still have flaws. However, unfortunately, the US isn't really #1 in ANYTHING anymore... We're not world leaders in energy, education, health, or really anything aside from having a massive military.

Everyone does dumb things. The fact that the US is one of the most developed countries just makes it more interesting to make fun of these flaws. (But the whole post was for humor, so let's not get into analyzing stuff.)

#1 in your hearts but in nothing else...

That is why I mentioned 'some' Americans. Because there's always going to be good and bad people in a country. (Again, 'good' and 'bad' are very generalized terms for describing people as no one is completely good or completely bad.)

Yeah I'vé always seen America as divided into two groups of people - the really smart nice inclusive apple pie and manners kind of people and then the really stupid discriminatory I'm always right America is above all of you orange muppet loving loud crass kfc eating kind of people. So don't worry we don't think you're all stupid. We just think about half of you are stupid 😂 but dw I laugh at my own country as well. I'm from New Zealand. Feel free to roast my country anytime. It's good to laugh at ourselves.
