I Turned Myself Into A 3D-Printed Miniature So I Could Capture Miniature Worlds

I always wanted to know what it would look like if I was a tiny photographer in a big big world, so I went to a 3D scanner company and got my body scanned and 3D-printed the result.

Now I can shoot my mini photographer while he captures the world around him.

Writing is a big part of me too, I hope to publish a fantasy novel one day. I also enjoy playing guitar and singing, as music always help me to get in a great mood. Whoa, which studio did you visit? I looked at the prices online and I don't think I can afford this at the moment😭. I make miniatures and I love how the 3d printed mini you turned out!

It kind of depends what size of figure you want. I got one of me in my S.H.I.E.L.D. agent cosplay done at a comic con about six years or so ago. It stands about 10cm tall (including the base), and cost me something like £60 ($80) at the time. There was a lady ahead of me who got one done of her two young sons, that cost around £100 ($135).

Love this! I was actually thinking of doing this when I was taking a walk in nature yesterday.

Your little "Mini Me" is so real looking. I really like some of the pictures. Especially the one where is background is larger than you.

For similar pics, why not visit the "Museum of Subatomic Tourism" on Facebook?

Really feeds imagination. Different angels make it look more realistic.

These photos are great, but wanted to give a shout-out to Chris Buck who did the same thing back in 2015: https://petapixel.com/2015/06/16/photographer-chris-bucks-quirky-self-portraits-with-a-3d-figurine-of-himself/
