I still remember the horse pills I had to take after my aneurysm. Two of them four times a day for three weeks, along with other medications. The pharmacist kept piling boxes upon boxes upon boxes up on the counter and I finally said, "We're gonna need a bigger boat." I'm so happy that's over and this person has all my sympathies. Edited to add because I just remembered, it was two pills every four hours, not four times a day. I try to forget that time.

My fridge vegie drawer comes close with my 3 different insulins boxed up and some other meds for hubby....plus 12 more bottles in the bathroom for A.M. and P.M. between diabetes, and all the other c**p doctors force onto us from 40 yrs old to death......they're racking up lots-o-rewards points from the Big Pharma companies for sure !!! I FEEL THE PAIN!!

I first thought it was for a day. If they are life-saving, then yes until something with less volume is possible, as it will one day. We are born into our own era as those before us who had less, and those ahead where most will have more answers to cure or prevent fragile health conditions..

So much of the meds seem to be in small packages. Why aren't there 100 of this with 1 a day or 300 of this every 8 hours?

Many camp counsellors I knew in the 80s had CF and most of them passed in the 90s or early 00s. It absolutely was a death sentence then. Thank goddess there is treatment today.
