Men And Cats: Photographer Challenges ‘Crazy Cat Lady’ Stereotype
We’ve all heard about the crazy cat lady, but why don’t we ever hear about crazy cat men? I don’t know, and neither does New York-Based photographer David Williams, which is why he says he set out on his strange but adorable “Men & Cats” photo series – to challenge that crazy cat lady stereotype by photographing fellas together with their adorable cats.
Some people tend the associate pet cats primarily with feminine friendship, but Williams (as well as yours truly, the happy male owner of an adorable kitty) insists it’s just not right – “I wanted to show that regardless of gender, many people have found the joy that cat companionship can bring” he told TimeOut New York.
Now, some readers may point out that the gentlemen in these cool photos don’t actually seem crazy, and that’s true. But we’re sure that they’re just crazy in love with their cute cats.

They all only have one cat. Crazy = more than 2 cats if you live alone, or more cats than people in the household.

I love cats! Wasn't one until I got one for my ex-wife. The cat bonded with me rather than her for some reason. Can't go without on now.

LOL... IMHO men with cats usually love hanging out with their own cats.. but I guess it's a great way to meet cat lady stereotypes too. ;)

Yes in order to be considered crazy you must be owned by more then 1 kitty. And that I saw only 1 gentleman had more then 1 .

I think it is great! I have two indoor rescue cats plus up to 5 outside I shelter & feed Crazy? who knows, but cats are cool!

My hubby is every bit as "crazy cat" as I am. We have 7 of them now... along with our 2 dogs. Lord help us if another stray comes meowing.

The furry rug resembles Bumble, from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I'm hoping it's a polyester blend rug, not animal skin/fur. Meow.

Take a closer look at the last picture. The guy in that pic has two cats-- one right next to him on the chair and the other on the bed.
