Themed parties are almost always fun. And I mean those random fun themes that make you look forward to seeing how all the guests will show up looking. For example, people organize parties where guests have to dress as somebody famous or some movie character from their name’s first letter, you are what you eat theme, or anything but clothes. And let’s just say these outfits turn out to be hilarious.
So speaking about that, recently the meme party that one woman organized is going viral. And the reason behind this is that everybody understood the assignment. Guests managed to perfectly recreate famous memes and folks online are applauding every one of them. So scroll through these ‘memes’ and upvote your favorite ones!

To begin with, the host of this party was Trish Belizaire, makeup artist from New York, whose friend group is now going viral for their perfect recreations of these famous memes. According to Yahoo, Trish loves to organize themed parties for her birthday and this year was no different.
I think the addition of the belt clip phone holder really adds that extra level of @nal retentiveness...
She shared an Instagram Reel showing all the guests’ costumes and it already got almost 59K views. However, then this video was reshared on X and it quickly collected over 22.8M views. And it’s no surprise - the costumes vary from the famous blue and black or white and gold dress to the confused guy meme and a few variations of Salt Bae.
People online were choosing their favorites and applauding all of the guests. “I've watched this like 7 times laughing at the Wendy Williams one,” one user on X commented. “The number of times I paused to admire details. This is magnificent,” another added.
Now, if you feel inspired and want to create your own birthday party with some fun or interesting theme, Love Panky shares quite a few ideas to make your celebration more interesting. For example, alphabet themed - you can choose a random letter and everybody has to dress as somebody or something starting from this letter.
Another idea is called Clue - to sum it up, a murder mystery. Simply prepare envelopes that determine each guest’s fate for the night and let the mystery begin. Or let’s say ‘the classics’ - celebrity lookalikes. This can bring a lot of fun as somebody will find a way to make their look hilarious and others will have to glam up and put on a dress that they didn’t have an opportunity to wear.
I remember when she was dressed up in that Statue of Liberty costume Wendy passed out due to overheating. The show then went to a commercial break after.
Also, saying ‘themed parties are more fun’ is clearly not a good enough motivation to organize one, so odyssey lists reasons why they are better than just a regular party. So first of all, people are more likely to go. It also makes your party far more memorable because visitors have to be creative in deciding what to bring or how to dress in advance.
Additionally, it’s an opportunity for tons of pictures with different people, different poses and a chance to make new friends just by talking about each other’s outfits! And of course, dressing up is always an opportunity to pretend to be someone else for the evening. For a few hours, it's nice to put aside your own concerns about midterms, work or any worries and walk in someone else's shoes.
So, to sum it up, it’s clear that this meme party is going viral and everybody loves it for a reason! But have you ever been to a fun themed party? What was your costume? Or maybe you have an idea for your own themed party just haven’t had a chance to organize it yet? Share in the comments below!
R.I.P. We missed out on so much that you were capable of. So young, so much talent.
Really only the black/gold one makes any sense as a meme, the others are just recreations of photos of people who I've mostly never heard of, let alone seen the pictures.
There are a few that are quite well know (e.g. The Rock with f***y pack) many of them I'd never seen before.
Load More Replies...These are not that good at all. They only make sense as a photo, or explanation photo next to it.
I can understand both sides of the comments photo vs meme theme. The actual meme captions would help. That being said, I give kudos to the people who "got" the idea and tried to pull it off. I've seen theme parties fall flat hard when only one or two guests either understood it or cared enough to make an effort. This one could have gone way wrong but instead it seems to have been a success. And the fact that The Rock was a female guest every time just cracked me up. No guys brave enough to do it ?!?! 😆 Find the happy or funny in EVERYTHING, especially in yourself!

The salt Bae was the only one I ever saw as a meme and maybe one more but the rest never saw as a meme just a photo with no context now I have x2. And the dress was just a pass around like the color blind test
