Hello everyone. My name is Felicity Berkleef and I am a photographer based in The Netherlands. Some of you may have already read some of my articles or know that cats are my main muses to photograph. One of my favorite series I ever photographed were the “cats in front of the window” series that featured my two cats Nero and Tommie.
About a week ago it was a very foggy morning, so I decided to take my youngest cat Tommie outside for some photos. Tommie is one of the easiest cats I know to photograph. He can sit still for about a few minutes. He is basically used that I photograph him.
I was very happy with the results, but I did not expect the series to become popular. A lot of people compared Tommie to movies like Star Wars, E.T. and even the game Skyrim. Can I blame them? Absolutely not.
