I love horses, i came across this horse in an article at
https://innerstrength.zone/, I immediately fell in love with Frederik, he was so beautiful and majestic. Although when you think about endangered animals horses aren’t usually the first that come to mind, this horse is an extremely rare breed called the Friesian stallion, luckily Frederik had his first offspring in 2015. I think we can all agree that this horse is absolutely gorgeous.

the friesian horse is a breed that originated from the netherlands, in friesland. it nearly became extinct several times in the past, though the breed has a good chance of surviving as it has become quite popular and valuable in these modern times.
Frederik has done his part to save his breed from extinction, he had his first offspring in 2015.

Frederik is named after the eighteenth-century Prussian monarch Frederick the Great. When he was 6 he was imported to a farm from the netherlands, he is now currently 19 years old. He has appeared on the “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, and has even received offers to star in some movies.

This horse is owned by Stacy Nazario and lives on the Pinnacle Friesians farm in the mountains. Frederik is often called the gentle giant and sometimes travels for shows and booked events.
