It’s often true that pets (just like books) tell a lot about their owner.

During my last art project I’ve had the pleasure of spending some time with a lot of cats, dogs, chickens, goats, rabbits, pigs and a guinea pig.

For 365 days I lived from trading. In exchange for people providing me with a bed and food for a couple of days, I would thank them by photographing something for them, and capturing the experience along the way. So when I arrived at a new place, I was also looking forward to meeting their little bundle of joy (although some weren’t really small at all).

Each pet came with their own character. Some were curious and investigating, others rather opted to wait things out and only slowly got used to me being around. But all of them brought an added value to my time there.

So, below you can find the pets I met along the way.
