The United States has very few real castles; however, there are plenty of enormous mansions that look just as royal. One of them, which has recently been built in Billings, Montana, has many castle-like amenities such as a turret, a drawbridge, and a moat. Even though it looks impressive from the outside, the inside of the house is where the magic happens.

Recently, a castle-like mansion that sells for $13.95 million has caught people’s attention and gone viral

The mansion, which is currently for sale for $13.95 million, has a size of 30,843 square feet and is built on a 100-acre property. It features 10 bedrooms, 19 baths, 14 garages, a couple of kitchens, and so many more amenities that could make your head spin.

The house, which is clearly one of the fanciest on earth, has several rooms dedicated entirely to indoor entertainment. It includes a shooting range, fitness center, yoga room, two-lane bowling alley, and golf simulator, along with multiple swimming pools and a swim-up bar. This house is a place where anyone would gladly spend a month or two of quarantine!

While the mansion features castle-like circular stairs, it also has a much more modern way of commuting between its five floors—a circular elevator.

Apparently, Montana has become a rather popular place for many wealthy individuals such as Johnny Depp, Denis Quaid, Tom Brokaw, and David Letterman. So the stakes are high that this fancy “castle” will soon be snatched by a rich celeb.

This doesn't count as a 'castle' Its just another modern building with a synthetic stone veneer. If I'm going to shell out $14 million, I want a real masonry building with a slate roof, the kind of thing intended to last for thousands of years. What castle doesn't have an armory?! or a forge for the armorer, or stables, or a granary, or a barracks for one's footsoldiers?

Is this to overlook the peasants of Ironwood? And why does it not have a moat? Castles have them, that is what the drawbridge is for. How will you keep Montanians from approaching your walls?

The towers are poorly situated, only offering a narrow window of defensive fire from the archers. Nearly the whole rear of the castle is indefensible from the ramparts.
