Apartment Complex Owner Pulls ‘Nuclear Revenge’ On The Site Manager Who Was In Charge Of His Property But Neglected It Instead
This viral story posted on the Nuclear Revenge subreddit comes from a 35-year-old male and the owner of an apartment complex with 72 units.
The author explained that after signing contracts with the new site management company, his real estate friend and lawyer gave him a crucial piece of advice.
“They recommended having a clause added in there. The short of it is ‘If there are any legal actions brought up against me for the apartment complex due to neglect of the property management staff, the property management will be responsible for all those costs and any legal fees incurred,’” the property owner explained.
It turns out, this clause became crucial in dealing with the aftermath of the site manager’s neglect of a bad roach infestation that tormented the tenants. Read on below to see how this story turned out, and it will become self-evident why it ended up on the Nuclear Revenge community.
Recently, an owner of an apartment complex shared how he made the property management lose over half a million after they neglected his property and the tenants who lived there

And this is what people had to comment about this whole ‘nuclear revenge’
And to whitewash landlords. I find it extremely hard to believe that a property manager would ever sign a clause like that
Load More Replies...I cry BS. You have a lawyer, and a real estate "friend" who takes such good care of you, that you potentially save MILLIONS and you take them to GenCon? And one is sleeping on your couch? Don't you as an apartment house owner , have an extra bedroom? In your own I'm sure at least middle class home? Plus if you " anonymously " encourage other of your tenants to get on board with the lawsuit, while I am so sure you are doing it purely for altruistic reasons, since you are becoming a therapist and all, I'm sorry, but that's illegal. It might be a fun idea, but if you do it in real life people find out. There are so many red flags in this, from the cadence of the writing giving away the writers age, to the"reward" I'm surprised BP was snookered.
I'd rather sleep on the couch than get cozy in a bedroom if I knew I was gonna leave early the next day and not.come back for awhile
Load More Replies...Yeah, Im calling BS on the whole situation. OP is essentially saying “I spent several million dollars in renovations but dont want any return on my investment, then at the first complaint with a property management company I did everything I could to cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars l, then decided to post about it online in a light that makes me seem like the best landlord ever”.
