When we go online and into the geeky corners of the internet, we’re usually bombarded with pictures of amazing cosplay. Cool costumes that took weeks (if not months!) to make, creative costumes that look just as real (or even more real) than what we see in movies or in comic books, you name it.
However, not all heroes follow the path of working hard. Some are vigilantes who work smart and offer cheap alternative DIY cosplay ideas. Enter Anucha Saengchart from Thailand, founder of Lowcost Cosplay. We’ve collected some of his best new cheap cosplay costumes of all kinds of famous characters, so scroll down, upvote your faves (there are bound to be plenty of them), and share this list with your friends.
We at Bored Panda adore Anucha’s low-budget cosplay so much that we’ve been following his creative ideas for years and years. You can read our previous articles about him here, here, and here. As well as here, here, and here. And let’s not forget this post right here.

It should come as no surprise that Anucha dressed up as Baby Yoda from Disney+’s hit new TV show ‘The Mandalorian.’ He also created Alien (from ‘Alien,’ obviously) using just a toothbrush and some toothpaste. Seeing as it was the 40th anniversary of the original movie, it makes a lot of sense for Anucha to show some love for the franchise.
Okay for some reason I am clueless about how ingenious this man can get.
Lowcost Cosplay has over 4.5 million followers on Facebook, as well as more than 563,000 fans on Instagram. Which just goes to show that Anucha’s simplicity and genius resonate with lots and lots of people.
After all, it’s possible to make hilarious and striking costumes with nothing more than household objects, some ingenuity, and lots of willpower: you’re not required to spend endless weeks and hundreds of dollars on your costume. Rather, the spirit of cosplay is all about having fun, not about getting all the tiny details right, wouldn’t you agree?
Dear Pandas, would you be willing to try out some of Anucha’s cosplay ideas yourselves? Which costume did you love best? What’s your favorite character to dress up as? We can’t wait to hear your thoughts, so share them with everyone in the comments below.
I thought that the picture on the bottom left was Mr. Beast for a second!
Stare into my nipples and the secrets of the universe will unfold for you
Thoroughly bizarre, surreal, absurd, and yet extremely inventive- I kind of love them.
