Oh! wish I could smell it...

It looks like a close up of a Grevillea (spider flower)... almost at "full bloom". They are native plants here in Australia.... A quick Google search showed ones in full bloom and ones similar to this pic, but I could be wrong 🤷‍♀️

Even though I'm 50, if I get a bouquet with snapdragons in it, I have to pluck one off and make it talk.

Poppies over here in New Zealand (as well as Australia) are very symbolic for us of world war 1, and a particular battle that too place.
