Lika: My 70 Sq Metre Tribute Mural To Humanity’s Most Liked Space Dog 60th Anniversary
This summer, in Romania, I was invited to paint a huge 70 square metre wall at Sibiu International Street Art Festival on a highschool.
During that week I painted this 11 metre tall mural that’s part of my “Social Space” Murals Project.
Humanity’s most liked space dog, Laika, paved the way for human spaceflight and space exploration, from what I love to think, a never ending space odyssey. She will always have its place within the stars.

“LIKA” is a 70 square metre mural as a tribute to the 60th Anniversary since Laika became the First Animal in Space to Orbit the Earth, aboard the Sputnik 2 spacecraft, on 3 November 1957.
P.S.: This mural was also made in the memory of my wonderful & loyal dog, Hera, which I grew up with
