The creator of Things In Squares, Cale, doesn’t share too much information about the man behind the comics. He lets the funny strips talk for themselves, which they do a great job at. Consistent style and erratic humor are prominent when reading through the lighthearted panels and the situations characters face seem pretty familiar to our own lives.
What’s interesting is that the author of Things In Squares also has a webcomic blog for aspiring webcomic artists. Why the blog? Well, Cale says: “making a webcomic is quite involved. I’ve searched for information all over the place to try to get ideas of how to grow a webcomic, but the information is scattered. This blog exists so that I can publish articles about making a webcomic and growing an audience.”

Have you ever wondered if there's an entry about you in your friend's journal?
how many astronauts does it take to change a light bulb?just one but it destroys the enviroment
I guess it's saying don't choose a lover based on their abs cause good looks aren't enough to help you raise kids and other stuff.
Load More Replies...I am guessing that maybe she only loved her boyfriend because he had a nice 6- pack. IDK
She only loved his sixpack and now was pregnant but alone with the "child"? Did I get this one right?
Oh look, it's the illustrators way of saying they're a "nice guy", and they don't understand why their female friends won't date them... Women aren't becoming single mothers because they're chosing abdominal muscles. Multiple studies have even shown the increased impact on teen and PRE TEEN girls on the objectification of OUR bodies to the point of "unliving" (as BP likes to put it) and attempted "unliving" rates have drastically increased while those of teen and preteen boys have remain unchanged. So no comic author, women aren't choosing 6packs for baby daddies... you're just not as "nice" as you think you are. 🤷♀️
I didn't agree with this originally, then I looked at the artist's website and it looks like he thought he was shadow banned from IG even after receiving proof he wasn't just because his page wasn't growing fast enough. So yeah, certified ego.
Load More Replies...To anyone wondering, the comic basically says that women fall for stupid traits like six packs easily, they don't ever think through whether the person is a proper partner or not. And end up in tough situations because of that
Seems more like the artist is just jealous they don't have a six pack. Even ugly guys can be jerks. Just look at incels. Lol.
