I Lived In Germany For Over A Year And Captured Its Unique Landscapes And Nature, And Here Are The Best 32 Pics
After spending the last 13 months living in the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, it's safe to say this place is a hiker's paradise. Germany is full of beautiful mountain lakes, wildflower meadows, and breathtaking peaks to climb.
When people ask why I want to make Germany a permanent home, these 23 photos right here sum up why. The alps. They're simply magical. Enjoy some of our backyard explorations.

Hi! It is not photoshop- it was achieved by taking a long exposure with my camera, allowing the sensor to pick up more light than what is available to the human eye. There isn't a lot of light pollution where I live, so you can visibly see the milky way in the mountains. Shooting a long exposure magnifies that.

My son is being deployed to Germany (for 3 years) next year and I'm going with them. I'm German/Austrian but haven't been back since I was ~11, so it's been ~39 years since I've been home. I want to move back there, but I don't do well with cold weather (I live in Florida now), but I'm going to see how I hold up. If all goes well, I might not come back at all. 🤞

Very nice pics you taken in Bavaria, the southern part of Germany. Try to get next time to the nothern edge, at the "Nord- und Ostsee". The "Wattenmeer" will surley enjoy you too. 😉

Germany has like, 2 mountains and you captured all, to the Austria :D Now seriously, nice pictures, but 95% of Germany does not have mountains like this :)

These photos were taken exclusively in Bavaria. And Bavaria doesn't really want to be part of Germany. Ask them.

Would have been nice if the OP would've shared the (common) names of the locations they've visited (or maybe solely geo-tack them)... Thanks to all fellow BPs, who pointed out that this was a single region in Bavaria though (might have guessed, as there are rarely any mountains that hight in any other state of Germany).

great - anther instagramer who cant stay on the tracks and has to trample the landside to get some unique shots. As the New Zealanders say so truly: "Don't travel under the social influence".
