Ocean Coffee Tables That I Made By Merging Natural Stone And Resin
Hello, I am Alexander Chapelin and I am the creator of the concept “LA TABLE”.
Today I present my 2 new natural stone base models of the island of St. Martin in the French West Indies.
I take a block of natural stone and I include resin, to create a compact block for you to have the impression of having the ocean in your living room.
The natural stone is very beautiful and fits perfectly with the resin that represents the ocean.

Wonderful and glorious colours. I assume these pieces must be quite weighty? Therefore perhaps not suited as wall art. Personally I'd love to see a table top transformed into wall art. You must have endless possibilities, from small to murals - Wow wow wow ;-)

I would be worried about scratches on the resin part, but the entire idea is brilliant and the end product is amazing.

I couldn't have this in my house, let alone my living room... it looks too much like a used/abused mattress.
