Bored Panda spoke with Julia, the “Cat Grows” group administrator, and asked her some questions about this feline-loving community. We were curious about the common features Julia had noticed across all the photos submitted by the members. She mentioned that all the kittens have blue or light gray eyes at first. Then, their color changes at around 4 months old. She also noted some other specific things: “Breed features are also there: for example, cats of the Thai breed are usually significantly light at a young age and gradually darken with age. The color may change completely, so sometimes it's hard to believe that this is the same cat.”
Siamese kittens can change quite dramatically in coloration as they grow. Some not as much.
We wondered if the group's theme was strictly limited to cats, given its name. To our surprise, Julia revealed that members also share pictures of other animal companions they live with: “In general, the community is dedicated to all living organisms that change over time. We often have dogs and rodents, foxes, cows, reptiles and even houseplants have been published. The passage of time is as much the main character of our community as cats.”
I love white feet on a ginger. Does he have a wife? Asking for a friend.
When asked about memorable stories shared by the cats' parents in the group, the moderator mentioned that it's really hard to pick just a few anecdotes with so many posts submitted by its members. However, Julia added: “Most of all, the stories about the sick street kittens that gradually gain self-confidence, get fatter, and become the owners of the apartment are catchy. I seriously think this is the best content on the internet.”
You can play in my drawers any time you want sweetie. (no pun intended BP).

And for today's lecture - The Globe and how cats have dominated the shiny blue ball since the dawn of time.
Oh my goodness, all that really changed is their position, left to right. They are still beautiful fuzzy fluffs!
Yes, I've always been a cutie, but hooman, please don't feed me so much.
My cat will sleep with me and walk all over me - but not get on the couch or chair with me. They are so mysterious.
Very nice, OP, but this post is for kittens and their grown-up selves, not a cottonball with ears and a cat.
Please stop promoting Scottish Fold cats :( The lack of cartilage that makes their ears fold causes so many joint problems.
I love how they all splay out and take over the space, lol. Cats rule!
