31 Times Wedding Photographers Captured Kids Not Caring About Your Fancy Wedding
Wedding photographers know that taking perfectly posed portraits of kids behaving sweetly is a bit like herding cats.
That's why top documentary wedding photographers just go with the flow and capture kids doing what they do at the moment. After all, when little ones lose patience with all the pomp and circumstance they let it all hang out and that makes for some really honest and sweet candid photos like these.
Here at World's Best Wedding Photos, we have a huge library of photos from the most experienced and talented photographers on the planet. We have painstakingly curated and categorized each and every photo they've shared with us to quickly come up with lists like this one for you.
It's a pleasure and honor to share their work.

Exactly. I don't get why people run these looong boring weddings.
Load More Replies...This is one of my very favorite collections here ever! The photography, the color, the lighting are technically first rate and all the people are absolutely lovely. So many close families and so much love! Everyone seems to be glowing. Viewing these photos really brightened my day. Thank you for this and more like it please!
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who was deeply touched by these photos. My heart is glowing 💗
Load More Replies...That's honestly a tragedy. Your wedding should be how you want it to be.
Load More Replies...Weddings are not good place for the children at all, it's boring for them, thwy can't behave and can easily desteoy the day for the bride and groom. I really don't understand, why most of people feels offended, when couple wants to make wedding without kids at all, it should be always like that...
My parents were highly insulted when invited to a wedding and told it was for adults only. They felt it was a personal slur on their children. So they refused to go. I cannot understand what the hell they were making such a fuss about. So a couple wanted a child-free wedding? What harm is there in that? Weddings are frequently boring enough for adults let alone small children! Spare the poor things!
Load More Replies...I know people want their loved children to be part of their wedding but... for kids, weddings are BORING! If you're going to have young humans you better have some sort of entertainment prepared for them, and snacks, and water, and juice, and whatever keeps them entertained. Adults have long-ish attention spans but kids don't and once the novelty of the pretty dresses or the decorations fades away, they are going to be sleepy, cranky, hungry, or all of the above at the same time.
Good photography- but i now understand why alot of invitations express 'adults only'!
These are some really great photos that remind me why I hate weddings.
Neither my stepson nor niece were thrilled with their part... and they refused to be still for pictures 34291_4101...f4e740.jpg
Children at that age are completely egocentric. Brides and sometimes grooms are equally so. Guess no one knew that. Now go vote, you intelligentsia.
Oh, please - there's a reason small children don't belong at a wedding unless there's a designated room for them to play in while being supervised. They're KIDS, kids get bored EASILY. You want a flower girl and a ring bearer? Fine - get them in & out of the chapel as quickly as you can. Was at a wedding where this woman had brought her 6 month old daughter, who screamed for a solid 15 minutes (before the wedding had actually begun) and the bride's mother lost it. She marched over and ORDERED this idiot to take the kid outside. Oh - and it was really soon apparent that she had crapped her diaper. (It wasn't a destination wedding or anything, btw. She could have left the kid with a babysitter - hell, I'm sure Grandma would have been thrilled to have her overnight!)
Please don't take your kids to weddings! They hate it, and so does everyone else who has to put up with your bored children.
Children don't belong at weddings. The ceremony is long and boring and dull for kids and they are not interested. Its extremely selfish of parents and family to dress kids up in uncomfortable and itchy expensive clothes just for an outdated tradition and photo op that takes way longer than it worth. Just take kids to the reception if you have to have them there and let them run around and have fun.
No please do not let children run around the reception and have fun. Leave them at home. Children running around the dance floor makes for horrible weddings.

Kids don't really belong at weddings or other events that require long bouts of patience. I feel for them. There is nothing to entertain them and they can't really play until it's over or they will get their clothes dirty. Etc.
Mostly lovely moments in time at an important event. Reminded me of the first wedding I was a part of at 10 yrs old. Lasted 4 or 5 days with all kinds of events before the actual wedding day. When it was all done and we were packed and ready to go home I heaved a loud sigh and stated "Now I can be a KID again!" as I got into the car.
There's a photo of me in the family album, aged about 6 or 7, absolutely passed out on a couch in my bridesmaid dress. It's possibly the best photo of me ever taken.
Wonderful photos made by a real artists of photography! Beautiful, funny, romantic, and somehow nostalgic in same time! I would like to had one of this artists at least in one of my two weddings!
My daughter decided to check on her diaper in the middle of the dance floor during our speeches. It was hilarious. Wedding_Ni...550a7a.jpg
I am a grown up and think that weddings are usually boring and over-social. I can imagine that kids hate it. My parents got married when I was 5, it was sooooo boring. Nowadays I mostly go to weddings where there are no kids. And when the couple don't want to spend the whole day in church. I don't like these looong classical weddings. Who does, anyway? It's nicer with a 2-hour dinner or something with some dance and cake for another 1-2 hours, but then it's enough. I don't see the purpose, since kids are falling asleep and sometimes grownups too..
