Working on my own story and the creation of a new race …… (and no not minions, aliens or predators or copycat from film industry, craft platforms, or fellow artists, but own new Tumulus creations). Here a start of the possible story …………….

[*Kāv]Bot 1.0

We count the year 3068AD (or less), the people have exploited the resources of the earth and left for ‘other places’, biological life almost does not exist anymore …………… (STOP)

On the devastated earth, and from the waste of all our smartphones and empty batteries, artificial intelligence has developed that again makes use of the waste of all those many combustion engines that have remained and have used up all our fossil fuels…………….( STOP)

A new tribe inhabits our planet ……… (STOP)

The people of the [*Kāv]Bots , an AI species that make clever use of all the waste and materials that we have left over and back. That also means all our junk and bones …….(STOP)

It could be said that Forge & Furnace Tumulus is essentially a personal hobby that has gotten out of hand. After more than 30 years of forging work, our activities have more recently expanded to include contemporary sculpture, bronze casting, and ceramic design. Our name, Forge & Furnace Tumulus, was inspired by the presence of six ancient Roman tumuli (tombs) within a 2-kilometer radius of our facility. If you examine some of the work from our smithy and foundry, you may recognize an appreciation for ancient history manifested in works that pay visual and symbolic homage to the record of human creativity.Owner/smith/designer Hans has always been fascinated by the creative possibilities offered by the ancient “four elements,” earth, water, air, and fire...the primal forces of nature that have always inspired awe and captivated the human spirit, from the dim ancient past up to our own modern times. Hans views these elements as an inspiration and driving force in his creations.Hans sees his 35-year journey in metalworking as a never-ending process of acquiring knowledge, developing skills, rediscovering and perpetuating traditional crafts, finding new avenues for creative expression, and serving as an educational resource for others. In daily life, Hans is an auditor and expert in quality and occupational safety management. In order to support a cherished hobby and to reduce the space-consuming buildup of our creations, we have decided to make some of the works of “F & F Tumulus” available for purchase or exhibition. If you are interested in buying or exhibiting our work, or if you would like assistance in realizing your own work, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Hey there, Pandas! My name is Diana (though some prefer to refer to me as Diane, Deanna, and even Liana sometimes), and I am a Community Post Moderator Lead for Bored Panda. As my position title states, I am one of the people (employed Pandas for bamboo) over here who work with the community side of things on this website to ensure all is well, and while at that, I also help various creators and artists get recognition for the incredible work they do by connecting them to a large worldwide audience. Other than that, outside of work, you can find me brewing a nice cup of coffee, making a pizza from scratch, or baking brownies. I also love traveling, concerts, and cats (heavy on that, because I am a cat mom).
