A woman was body-slammed after a violent road rage-fueled altercation with another driver. The incident, caught on camera, began when the woman confronted a man.

The dispute, which took place in Toledo, Ohio, USA, on January 4, saw the woman throwing a punch at the man before getting viciously body-slammed onto the frozen pavement.

  • A woman was body-slammed after a road rage altercation caught on camera.
  • The incident took place on January 4 in Toledo, Ohio, USA.
  • The body-slammer, a male driver, attempted to calm the woman but was punched in the face.

Moreover, footage showed that the woman emerged from a blue sedan, which abruptly came to a halt.

She was subsequently filmed shouting profanities at the driver behind her. “Let’s go, get out of the f***ing car,” the woman screamed as she opened her arms toward the other driver, The Daily Mail reported on Monday (January 13).

The situation went on to intensify when the man stepped out of the passenger side of the other vehicle to engage with her.

The man seemingly tried to calm the angered lady down, however, as he walked away, the woman threw a punch from behind, smacking him in the face, TMZ reported on Monday.

“My man’s right f***ing there. Come and put your f***ing hands on me,” the woman had been yelling at him before physically attacking him.

After being punched, the man, dressed in pajamas, consequently fired back with a punch of his own. In a violent twist of events, he went on to lift her and slam her to the ground.

The brunette woman with glasses was reportedly seen lying on the ground briefly, groaning and holding her head in apparent pain. Her present condition remains unknown.

The clip sparked divided reactions as a Facebook user commented: “She had no business putting her hands on him or even getting out of the car. Ik she better not play victim.”

A person wrote: “I bet she won’t do that again.”

Someone else penned: “If this wasn’t on video she would have lied and said she never threw a punch and that he assaulted her out of nowhere and he’d be in jail facing charges.

“Don’t start a problem won’t be one!” a netizen added. “She made the first move and he made the last.”

A separate individual chimed in: “Don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing.”

Neither party has filed a report since the incident, which was therefore not investigated, Toledo Police told TMZ.

Prince Flores, a spokesperson with the Toledo Police Department, told WTVG that nobody called the incident in, so it has not been investigated.

He said: “We are all going somewhere when we are driving. We want you to make sure you’re getting there safely.

“When you’re rushing, you’re late, you’re trying to get through traffic and traffic is backed up you can kinda get upset with things.”

The officer continued: “’If you feel like someone is just aggressively making actions to kinda get your attention, driving too close, honking their horn, things like that.

“What we want you to do is try to get away from them as safely as you can. If it continues to be a problem call 911.”

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration defines road rage as “an intentional assault by a driver or passenger with a motor vehicle or a weapon that occurs on the roadway or is precipitated by an incident on the roadway.”

Only a few states – most recently Utah – have passed laws specifically defining and punishing road rage.

If cases are prosecuted at all, they tend to fall under broader assault or homicide laws. That makes finding data on road rage incidents particularly challenging, Pew Research Center explained.

As of October 2024, according to the Gun Violence Archive (GVA), data, 116 people have been killed in road rage incidents involving guns, versus 109 through the first 10 months of 2023.

According to the GVA, which is one of the few sources with some insight about road rage in the US, injuries in these incidents are running a bit lower – 302 through October, compared with 320 in the same period last year.

To the person saying he could have paralysed her, it's a well know punch can cause strokes or death. So she could have killed him. Was his response a little much? Probably but in the heat of the moment, you are not always in control of your response because adrenalin is a wild ride.

Some years ago, there was video of a lady walking her bully breed. Some Karen flipped out about a pit bull and started screaming at the dog walker. The dog walker tried to disengage and walk away. Karen hit the Dog Walker and immediately got punched in return. Then Karen was all sobbing like, "OMG, you hit me!" Everyone in the comments of the video was like, "Doy, you hit the dog walker first! Of COUSE she hit you back." I dunno why people act surprised when they put their hands on someone and then get hit back.

He did not go too far. He had to put her on the ground. When she was standing she threw a punch to the back of his head, if he left her standing she could do it again. On the ground she was not getting back up in time to go another round and he was safely out of there.

Wondering who the man in the white SUV in the second video was. I'm guessing that he is her "man" who apparently wasn't in the car with her. And he clearly had no sympathy for her when he puts her back into her vehicle. What little bit of conversation between them that can be heard on the video sure makes it sound like he is tired of her s**t. And for the record, she absolutely deserved that body slam.

Agree with all of these comments, except the ones saying that they don't care about the condition of the woman. I do. Depending on how much of the impact her head absorbed, she could be F'd up for life. Yes, she deserved to get put in her place, but no she doesn't deserve to get spoon-fed by her relatives for the rest of her life.

So from the video, she screeches to a halt at the junction. Which is dangerous in any weather condition, nevermind snow, ice... Then she starts screaming at him, "Get out of my face", throws the first punch...... If someone comes at you screaming like she did? Your safety defences are going to be immediately up. Not defending him doing a body slam on her but it's... You can't know how you're going to react in that situation. Someone comes up screaming at you and they could possibly have a weapon, such as a knife, gun? If you yourself turn away? It could be a LOT worse if you turn your back... But tbh? She brought it upon herself, not the body slam on an icy road but the first reaction from the other person. Don't go around screaming in other peoples faces when you're possibly the one in the wrong?

I strongly disagree. The start of your post says it all. The second driver was lucky to be able to stop from hitting the crazy person who sped around them, then slammed on her breaks on and icy snowy road. Then she amps up to unhinged when she gets out of her car and starts yelling at the other driver. When he gets out, she gets up in his face, she threatens him with "her man" insinuating that he would fight the passenger. When he starts walking away, she sucker punches him. You don't throw 1 punch and call a fight over. A fight is over when the instigator is neutralized. She already hit him from behind, what's to stop her from escalating if he tried to walk away after the first punch? I will further state that not only was the body slam justified, it saved her from further injury. As many hits to the face and body as it may have taken him to subdue her enough to not attack again could cause lost teeth, facial bone fractures, and bruised organs. Instead, she's down and he walks away.

In the US, if she attacked him he could have turned around and shot her in self defense and nothing would happen. However, if he throws her down and she hits her head and dies then he is going to jail for involuntary manslaughter.

Punching her back I understand, OK. But lifting her and slamming her on the ground? Isn't that a bit too harsh? The punch would've been enough?

Well it's hard to decide... It's not just that she hit him first, but also from behind. I think he didn't want to fight and he didn't start the fight, but he wanted to end it instantly. I don't blame him for that, but she went head first down, not with her back, how he maybe intentionally wanted to. So yeah, it was to harsh, but the punch wouldn't had been enough. Well that are at least my thoughts.

Actually, it was not hard to watch at all. Most satisfying video, she started it & he finished it. Wonder how she feels seeing this all over the internet.

That woman would have escalated that confrontation, no doubt in my mind. She got off lucky.

Women - consider this before you get physical and plan accordingly: most men are pretty doggone strong. They have muscles and strength in places you can't imagine.

The lady had it coming. Don't throw hands if you aren't willing to catch some. My only criticism is that the fellow went for a conventional body-slam; I was hoping for the Stone Cold Stunner or maybe the People's Elbow.

I don’t understand these poll questions. I fell like they’re getting more ridiculous, considering this one had zero info to answer it.

The show Beef on Netflix staring Ali Wong makes me think twice about getting involved in anything like this. This is like how that show starts.

In the US, if she attacked him he could have turned around and shot her in self defense and nothing would happen. However, if he throws her down and she hits her head and dies then he is going to jail for involuntary manslaughter.

I thought her man was in the car. Why does he leave her sitting on the ground without helping her. It says a lot.

They are both idiots. I still think he went too far by body slamming her. The punch alone would have been sufficient. They are menaces to society.

Is it me or is the driver of the white van coming to see if it's okay, seeing that his car was left in the middle of the street? That's pretty nice!
