It’s no secret that Bored Panda loves animals and we have quite a number of posts on cats and dogs. But don’t you think ferrets are being unfairly left out? They’re just as cute, adorably long, and also very professional (since a group of ferrets is called a business).

About 3 years ago, we shared a list of hilarious pics of dinosaurs replaced by cats in Jurassic Park. “Everything looks better with cats! Scientifically proven!” one of our dear Pandas then commented. Well, apparently, some people wanted to test out the theory with ferrets—do these sausage hamsters make everything better too? We think so. Do you? Scroll down below to see for yourself!

The 6 now-viral pics were shared in a Facebook group called Things that are not aesthetic, though originally, it was created and posted by a woman named Mélissa Delteil. The creator of the group says that they share “an intricate mix of unaesthetic and cringeworthy images” there, which apparently have a huge appeal, since over 3M fans are following the page.

However, the photoshopped creations quickly spread to other social media platforms, including Twitter and Imgur. “I don’t know who did this, but I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time,” someone tweeted upon resharing the pictures.

And people loved the idea

It’s not the first time Jurassic Park has been “updated” with new characters. We already talked about Purrassic Park, but people online have also been sharing a version of the movie where the scary dinosaurs are replaced with the ones from the 90’s show Dinosaurs.

As the post received more than 50k likes

As we all need a little break from everything that is going on in the world right now, it comes as no surprise that the cheeky pics with ferrets have gone viral. More than 50k liked the original post shared on Things That Are Not Aesthetic, not to mention thousands of others who re-shared the pics on other social media platforms.

In the comment section of the original post, people were sharing photos of their (beyond adorable) ferrets, who, according to their humans, approve of this version of the movie. Also, someone pointed out that “If ferrets were that big, they’d be worse than dinosaurs.”

In the same comment section of the post, you can also find a plethora of ways people refer to their lovely long fur babies: “My stinky slinkies approve,” someone commented. “Archer, the stonkin’ chonk,” another woman introduced her ferret. “The deadly fur noodle mostly preys on socks and bare feet…” someone shared a photo of their cute ferret, while describing their ways of hunting.
